Diesel Continues Down
Diesel prices slipped to their lowest level in 12 months last week.

National Observations
- National diesel prices were down again last week, continuing a two-week trend. Prices dropped an average of 3.6 cents per gallon to $3.451, the lowest level in 12 months.
- The current price is over 41 cents lower than the peak price in the last 12 months. Diesel reached $3.865 early July 2024 and has been on a gradual downward slide since.

Regional Observations
- Prices dropped in all but one of the regions. The biggest drops were in the Midwest and California, each dropping 4 cents a gallon.
- Diesel inched up in the Rocky Mountain region. Prices were up just under a penny a gallon.
