- Nationally, diesel prices were down 1.7% last week. This marked the first drop in three weeks of increases.
- The 6-cent drop was the largest change in price since the week of March 3 this year. Prices lowered just over 6 cents/gallon that week.
- The average price in 2025 is now slipping closer to $3.62. That puts it at around 14 cents/gallon or 3.8% lower than the 2024 average of $3.76.

Key Regional Observations
- All regions saw price drops last week. The largest in both dollar and percentage terms was the Gulf Coast, which dropped almost 7 cents per gallon or 2.2%.
- The smallest drop was in the Rocky Mountain region. Prices inched down 1.9 cents, or 0.6%, in that area.
