Fuel Eases Further
Diesel was a little less expensive across the country last week, continuing a two-week trend.

National Observations
- Nationally, diesel dropped another half cent per gallon last week. This is the second week in a row of small decreases from a recent peak.
- Even with the decrease, diesel is still the highest it has been in the last 12 months, barring the last two weeks. It will need to drop another 5 cents a gallon to be close to the previous peak.

Regional Observations
- The biggest downward move regionally was on the Gulf Coast. Prices there slipped 1.2 cents per gallon.
- Rocky Mountain region bucked the trend. Diesel in the mountains rose 1.2 cents per gallon on average.
