Fuel Pricing Settles
Fuel prices took a bit of a breather last week, continuing to ease in some areas and increasing slightly in others.

National Observations
- Diesel prices stabilized last week, moving down just half a cent. This is the fifth week in a row of declines.
- Prices are still almost 28 cents a gallon higher than the low for the year. Diesel averaged only $3.451/gallon the week of June 2, 2025.

Regional Observations
- The biggest movement regionally was on the Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain. Prices dropped 1.2 cents/gallon and 0.9 cents/gallon respectively.
- The West Coast saw slight increases last week. In California it rose 0.2 cents and it was up an average of 0.9 cents in the other Western states.
